RESTORE Resources
The RESTORE Educational Resources are developed by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as part of our contribution to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
Through real restoration stories from ecosystems around the world, RESTORE brings ecosystem restoration education into practice, providing educators and learners with practical ways to explore ecosystems, investigate environmental challenges and connect learning with local action through the Learning About Ecosystems and Forests (LEAF) and Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) methodologies.

Ecosystem Restoration Playbook
Discover the Ecosystem Restoration Playbook, a practical guide developed by UNEP and FAO for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021–2030). Packed with inspiring examples and practical actions, it explores how individuals, schools, communities, businesses and governments can help restore ecosystems and build a healthier planet. The Playbook is available to download in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swahili.
Water Explorers Guide
The Water Explorers Education Guide is a free project-based learning resource developed through collaboration between Sow my Dream, the educational programme of Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy and the Foundation for Environmental Education. Designed for upper primary and middle years learners, the guide encourages students to explore aquatic environments through observation, investigation, creativity, and action. Through hands-on missions, real-world case studies, and community-focused sustainability activities, students learn how water connects ecosystems, people, and the planet.
