The Journey to the Green Flag
Every school’s journey to being awarded the Green Flag is different. Jerudong International School overcame many a challenge during that process. Their journey was helped along with the use of the Eco-Schools Seven Step framework and now they can fly their Green Flag with pride.
Planting Little Woodlands in Irish Schools
In school playgrounds, business premises and community grounds across Ireland, Little Woodlands are being planted. Based on the Tiny Forests, these small, dense and biodiverse native woodlands are transforming the areas into functioning outdoor classrooms and havens for local biodiversity.
YRE students at The International Conference on Sustainability Education
In September 2022, five YRE students attended the International Conference on Sustainability Education (ICSE) in India. The theme of the conference was Building Connections and Partnership for a Sustainable Future and attended by thousands of people from across the globe.
